How We Invest

An institutional process, run by students.

Hover or tap each stage — AI and alternative data support the first three stages by widening what our analysts can screen and test, but every decision that follows is made by a person, not a model. See how AI fits into our process →

01

Identify

We screen companies across industries — AI-assisted where useful — to find businesses with compelling long-term potential.

02

Research

Analysts run fundamental research, industry analysis, and financial statement review, using data tools to work faster and cover more ground.

03

Analyze

We evaluate valuation, growth, profitability, risk, and catalysts, cross-checking model output against analyst judgment.

04

Invest

Decisions are made by the Investment Committee based on the research and portfolio objectives — never by a model alone.

05

Monitor

We continuously track holdings and revisit our thesis as new information — and new signals — emerge.

Fund Philosophy

What we believe about investing.

01

Long-Term Thinking

We focus on businesses capable of creating durable value.

02

Fundamental Research

Strong decisions begin with understanding the underlying business.

03

Disciplined Risk Management

Every opportunity is evaluated against its downside first.

04

Continuous Learning

Markets change, and so does our process — including how we use new tools.

05

Student Ownership

Members carry real responsibility and real exposure to the process.

High accountability. Real trades.

Analysts take ownership of a sector, build financial models, write investment memos, and defend their thesis in front of the Investment Committee before capital is committed. This is a high-accountability role — your research directly drives real trades.

Responsibilities

  • Cover an assigned sector and maintain a working universe of names
  • Build and maintain financial models — DCF, comps, scenario analysis
  • Write concise investment memos with a clear thesis, catalysts, and risks
  • Present and defend pitches to the Investment Committee
  • Monitor existing positions and flag material changes to thesis

What We Look For

  • Rigor over conviction — willing to change your mind when the facts do
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Comfort with financial statements and modeling — we'll teach the rest
  • No prior industry experience required
